as i entered Haberlgasse for the first time in 2018, the control Room was left with a pair of Tannoy DTM12! it seemed that the Room was originally intended for the speakers to be soffit mounted so we put them there soon to find that there were too many reflections off the console.. also the range was lacking sub frequencies and the woofers were working a lot. Recording Guitar-Music was fine most of the time but since i was working on pop and electronic music, special demands needed to be met. In 2023, we decided to improve upon room acoustics & playback system. Our Tannoys are now happy to be accompanied by two custom designed Volt 12inch Woofers and one JBL 18inch mono Sub. this thing now goes very low, very loud, very clean! All powered by State-of-the-art Hypex DSP & Class-D amplification! We even managed to get good coverage across the whole room. Music translates now very well
